Join us for a festive hands-on workshop where you will design and craft your own holiday spoon in sterling silver. In this three-hour session, you will learn how to transform sheet and wire into a fully functional spoon. Perfect as a unique gift or as a cherished addition to your kitchen or dining room.
Participants will explore techniques of sawing, forming, forging, gravity casting, and soldering to create spoons of different sizes and styles. From a serving spoon for cranberry sauce or gravy, to a petite stirrer for coffee or cocoa, your piece can be tailored to fit your holiday traditions and family memories.
This class emphasizes both skill-building and creativity, offering you the opportunity to shape silver into an object that is both beautiful and useful. By the end of the day, you will leave with a finished sterling silver spoon that reflects your personal touch and can become part of your own seasonal celebrations for years to come.
Some prior metalsmithing experience is necessary. All tools and materials list is listed separately. Bring your scrap sterling and metal.
All classes include the video recording, which you will have access to for 60 days after the class.
