The Cord-Knit technique requires only your fingers and a single small knitting needle to construct a beautifully flexible knitted tube in delicate gauge fine (pure) silver wire or high-karat gold wire.
Spend a convivial interlude online with friends new and old, and finish with fabulous new jewelry to enjoy yourself or delight a gift recipient.
Because such a shortlist of simple hand tools is required to make a very diverse selections of sizes, Cord-Knitting is an ideal, and relatively portable, activity you'll be enjoying and sharing for years.
Skill Level: No experience necessary. Moderate patience and hand-eye coordination required.
All classes include the video recording, which you will have access to for 60 days after the class. Zoom link and instructions for joining the call will be emailed 1 day (24 hours) prior to class.

- 2mm knitting needle (US size 0 or 00) Since these come in packages of 5, and you only need one, consider arranging to share with friends taking the class :).

Suggested materials:
- 24ga copper round wire - 132455 (for starting chain and practicing)
- 1/2 troy oz - 24ga fine silver round wire - 105324 - ½ troy ounce is ~25 feet of wire, and will make about 9" of single knit chain
- OR 10 dwt - 26ga 18k yellow gold round wire - 604126 - 10 dwt is ~25 feet
