Instructor: Jennifer Stenhouse

During this workshop, we investigate the wide variety of finishing and polishing techniques. We will learn how to slay your finish, add texture, & get a high shine polish. We’ll pay specific attention to finishing surfaces so that your work takes on a more professional look and feel. By the end of the course, you’ll be creating higher-quality work with style! Demonstrations will include uses for flexshaft tools, hand finish, mass finishing that makes your work more efficient. Techniques will include sanding, de-burring, satin, and polish, using a variety of tools and equipment to get the best results. I invite your questions! Bring work needing finishing, and sample pieces. Each person in the class will be encouraged to work on a sample with the techniques.
