During this live Zoom workshop, we will explore ways and solutions to set up a working jewelry studio of your own. We will determine what the studio essentials are and how to plan for growth. Part of the workshop will address the basics like safety and layout. Students frequently request advice when it comes to setting-up-shop at home. Ventilation, lighting, ergonomics, noise issues, and tool gathering will all be discussed in this super informative workshop designed to help get you started or fine-tune a studio. Establish a safe and productive metal-working environment whatever your budget. How to prioritize your workspace and needs. Creating the perfect studio with the resources you have! We will take a look at how others have organized studios, do’s and don’ts, and the history of the jewelry studio. Students will work on studio layout and planning for the future!
