Welcome to Jewelry Engraving Basics, a comprehensive course designed to introduce students to the captivating world of jewelry engraving. This course places a strong emphasis on sharpening and preparation of gravers.
Students will be introduced to traditional gravers, utilizing the Lion Punch Forge engraving adapter for the flex shaft, and harnessing the precision of an air graver. This course is perfect if you've been curious about how to use powered gravers, but have been daunted by the price tag and how to use them!
The goal of this course is to empower and guide the curious engraver to create intricate and personalized designs that they can incorporate into their pieces. A combination of exercises and projects will be used.
Session 1
Understanding and sharpening gravers with an introduction to cutting lines and shapes- Project assignments
Session 2
Lines, embellishments, patterns, and graver uses for tasks other than engraving.

All classes include the video recording, which you will have access to for 60 days after the class.
